Marinette ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. The following policy explains how our Slot Booking for Forms™ add-on handles your information — and your respondents' information — when you use our Google Workspace™ add-on.
What data Slot Booking accesses
Slot Booking for Forms™ requests access to the following Google services in order to function:
- Google Forms™ — to maintain the booking question on the one form where the add-on is installed: it writes the list of open time slots and updates it as slots fill, pass, or reopen, and it reads submissions to that form (the chosen slot and the respondent's email address) in order to make bookings
- Google Calendar™ — to create one event per booked slot on the calendar you choose, add each respondent as a guest, and update those events as bookings arrive; to list your calendars and their time zones for the calendar picker; and to read the add-on's own slot events so it can count bookings and notice cancellations
- Email sending — to send booking notices from your account: a heads-up to the address you choose when something needs your attention, and a note to a respondent whose chosen time was taken a moment before they submitted, so nobody is left believing they hold a booking they don't. Slot Booking sends booking notices only — never marketing, and never to anyone except you and the affected respondent
Slot Booking only accesses the specific form where it is installed, and it only ever modifies calendar events that it created itself. It also installs two small automation triggers in your Google account — Google's consent screen describes this as permission to "run when you are not present." One runs when your form receives a submission (it is what makes the booking); the other keeps the slot list current on a schedule. Neither can access anything beyond your form and the add-on's own calendar events.
Your respondents' information
When someone books a slot, their email address moves from their form submission to your calendar event (as a guest, which is how they receive their confirmation invite) and appears in the booking notices and summaries sent to you. All of this stays inside your Google account and theirs; Google Calendar handles the invitation exactly as if you had invited them yourself. Respondent information is never sent to us or to anyone else.
How we use your data
Slot Booking processes your data entirely within your Google account, moving booking details between your form and your calendar. We do not transmit, store, or process your data — or your respondents' data — on any external server. Your bookings never leave the Google ecosystem.
How your data is protected
Because Slot Booking runs entirely inside Google's infrastructure, your data is protected by the same security that protects your Google account: Google's encryption in transit and at rest, and your own account credentials and two-factor authentication. The add-on has no servers, no database, and no copies of your data anywhere. Access is granted by you through Google's OAuth consent screen and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately ends all access.
Data we do not collect
Slot Booking does not collect or store your personal, form, or calendar data on our servers, share your data with third parties, or use your data for advertising or marketing purposes.
Anonymous usage and error diagnostics
To know whether features are working, and to find errors we would otherwise never hear about, Slot Booking records which actions run. A record says that slots were generated, or that a booking was processed, along with an anonymous code for the account that ran it.
These records never include your data. No form questions or responses, no attendee names or email addresses, no calendar event details. The anonymous code comes from Google, cannot be traced back to your identity, and changes roughly every 30 days.
When something fails, Slot Booking also records the error Google reported and structural facts about what went wrong, such as whether the form was still reachable. The same rule applies: nothing from inside your form, your responses, or your calendar.
These records are written to Google Cloud Logging inside our Google Cloud project, kept for 30 days, then deleted automatically. They are never shared with anyone.
Google API Services
Slot Booking's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data retention
Your form, response, and calendar data is never stored outside your Google account, so there is nothing of yours for us to retain or delete. The anonymous diagnostic records described above are kept for 30 days and then deleted automatically. Uninstalling the add-on leaves your form, your responses, and your calendar exactly as they are.
Children's privacy
Slot Booking is designed for productivity use and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do. Continued use of Slot Booking after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
