If your Etsy sales cross the IRS reporting threshold for the year, Etsy will send you (and the IRS) a 1099-K showing your gross sales. That threshold has changed more than once in recent tax years, so check your Etsy Finances tab or IRS.gov for the figure that applies to the year you're filing. Either way, income is taxable whether or not a 1099-K was issued.
Not tax advice. This is a rough set-aside estimate using the standard 15.3% self-employment tax rate (on 92.35% of net profit) plus your estimated income-tax rate. Your actual liability depends on your full tax situation. Always check with a qualified tax professional before filing or sending quarterly payments.

Expense Tracker for Sheets™ runs this same math automatically as you log expenses, plus mileage, 24 IRS categories, and a Pre-Filing Scan that catches missing receipts before you file. Free.
