Small tools that make life a little easier.

Marinette is one person making small, careful tools for the parts of life that run on group chats and spreadsheets.

It started with a carpool. A school thread ran 55 messages over two days and still nobody could tell who was driving. So I built a board you could pin to the chat: tap a seat, pick a kid, done. The whole group used it, including the people who never use anything. That's the carpool board, and it's free.

The rest grew the same way, out of things I needed myself: a way to turn a spreadsheet into calendar events, a way to file receipts out of Gmail™, and a set of spreadsheets for the treasurers, presidents, and volunteers who keep schools and clubs running. Some of the tools are free. The templates cost a few dollars.

Where your data lives

The add-ons and templates run inside your own Google account. Nothing you put in them comes to me. The carpool board is the one exception, on purpose: a board lives on my server so a whole group can share one link. It holds first names and notes, nothing more, and it deletes itself 60 days after the last day. Details are on its privacy page.

A real person

There's no team here. When you write to support@getmarinette.com, I'm the one reading it, and I answer every email.
